MyIrishTunes.com ~ The Morrigan Homepage: The Morrigan is an acoustic band that performs traditional Irish music on traditional instruments, including fiddle, simple system wooden flute, button accordion, concertina, Irish uilleann pipes, whistle, bodhran and piano ~ accompanied by more modern instruments that have been adopted into the Irish tradition such as guitar, mandolin and bouzouki. The band is anchored by fidder, Mary Malone, with piper and flute player, Den Vykopal, who are joined by many great local Irish trad musicians and singers. Some past and present band members are listed on our bios page.; One of the best multi-instrumental Irish trad bands performing in the Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas ~ we have played from Philly to San Francisco and in parts of Europe.
